A Preserved Glimpse

This project is a documentation of my childhood home in the Netherlands.
All images are taken from personal
archived footage.

Showing only the details I remember from
a place that no longer exists, it visualizes the layering of memories, imitating the
way memories are jumbled up. Reality and fiction have merged together and cannot
be distinguished from one another.

The book is divided in 3 sections. With
each section the image of the memory becomes more distorted until it transforms into something completely unrecognisable.
